Our “4 Winds” is an equal parts blend of four mushrooms:

Who
we are
Soulshine Earth is an outdoor mushroom forest farm located in the Appalachian foothills of Southeast Ohio in Athens, Ohio. Established in 2021 on 10 acres of forested land. Founders Andy and Anna run an 800+ log mushroom growing operation. They are cultivating a variety of culinary and medicinal species including: Lion's Mane, Reishi, Turkey Tail, Shiitake, and Oyster. They are additionally focused on growing native varieties of medicinal mushrooms and plants for use in their extracts. Mushrooms have been used in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) for thousands of years. Co-Founder Andy studied TCM in Beijing, China while obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Biology Pre-Medicine at Ohio University. Co-Founder Anna is an experienced farmer and lifelong student of Nature. As practitioners and students of herbalism, together they combine their skills, using both a science based approach and an intuitive approach to co-creating with the Earth.
